37 days: Bangkok
Last Day ... :-(
all'MBK threw in that it is not 'even noon. Small break sushi and then we set off around the stalls of up to 7 floors of the mall! There riamaniamo for 6 hours without even realizing it.
arrive at the hotel just in time for a shower and then race to BedSupper Club, where we booked dinner.
Menu 'as usual and does not disappoint ... even the choreography tonight and that 'a modern interpretation of ancient dances. After dinner the evening continues with international DJs, but we exhausted so 'tired from 6 hours to MBK, we can not stay.

CHRISTMAS GIFT
Remember when I said that I would have told the first day of travel at the end? Well. Now look at the blue box in the picture. Inside this box is the "Cristhmas gift" to us by Dr. Danny Low, ie the extracted tooth with Andrea just arrived in Hong Kong. This
damn tooth is thought to cause a abscess during his flight from London to Dubai.
This "little unexpected" has given us:
1 - Hospital Dubai Airport for a painkilling injection (so cool to travel with a golf car with the word "ambulance" for the entire airport!)
2 - Dr. Alex WK Chan to visit the emergency just arrived in Hong Kong
3 - Dr. Danny Low who checked out the Dentone for a modest sum of HK $ 5000
4 - Five days with various drugs
To further defuse here's a photo of Andrea before extraction.
... and I'm still eating the hands to be able to do a shot of Andrea lying on the bed of the dentist with sunglasses :-)

Kanchanaburi: Kanchanaburi
In 2004 I made my first trip to Thailand. My Lonely recounted a temple in Kanchanaburi, where the monks had found a litter of tiger cubs and how these, growing with them, they had adapted to live peacefully with humans. What was magical and I put in my immediate Kanchanaburi travel plan. Then I had a digital camera so cool but a Kodak disposable ... But at home I have prints of the photos on an album and my return to Italy I will try to scan to put them in this post. The monks opened the temple a couple of hours a day to visitors and providing them with some examples of tigers. These specimens were tied around the neck with a chain about three feet anchored to the ground, in a kind of quarry. The tigers were asleep visibilmete and visitors could also get closer and touch them and take some pictures. At that time, four specimens were available, surrounded by three monks and four men with the task of controlling the animals. I was quite disappointed to see these beasts so helpless on the ground. Years later I heard several times about the temple of the tigers and all I have always said that was a disappointment.
After 7 years I go back to the temple with Andrea. I approach the experience trying to be as objective as possible and trying to keep all the details ... however lately I have heard many positive testimonials.
The road to the temple has been paved and now can be reached by mini-bus, and then a sort of open bus carrying half way and then had to scurry. They are also constructing a building shaped like a huge tiger just before you get there (I assume a restaurant). The tigers are always kept within this cave and it is true that things have changed ... Yeah ... Now the copies will be available a fortnight, there is only one monaco but to compensate there are dozens of people to control the pink jersey, taking one by one the tourists and make them walk in the midst of tigers taking them a lot of photos.
Tigers are always bound and helpless on the ground. The person posing for the photos and move them hardly any muscle. I'm not sleeping, but for sure they are given a dose of tranquilizers that can make rimbabite. Obviously, this is the only way to bring tourists to their ... carnivorous animals attack hunger or defense is not that fun to hunt for men but a tiger is put in play with a man is still dangerous ... is like a huge cat ... only that if you scratch a tiger bites your face or a finger to his game has the same effect as a kitten!
E 'undoubtedly a great experience to pet a wild animal ... and can also come out some beautiful photos to show off to friends ... 1000 baht if you want to give you also my head in my arms !
But I think it's very sad that to please the tourists so you should ridicolarizzare animals. I wonder what they would do if you saw these tigers in these conditions ...
The employees continue to move the legs of the animals to pose. There are dozens and dozens of pink spots that walk among the tigers and the bypass, accompagando tourists from one station to another. The highlight for me is when I give the tail of a tiger in his hand ... I can not help but throw a joke to defuse a situation that seems ridiculous and sad at the same time!
At about 15:30
some tigers must be made to move to a "walk" with visitors and to be able to do a "show". Some are starting to move by themselves (and that's what makes me think of a targeted dose of tranquilizer for the hours spent on the photo), while others need to be shaken, slapped on the head or splashed with water, before being able to get up.
addition to this sad part of the so-called "Temple", there is another that there was 7 years ago and instead has something good.
follow the path past the quarry, you come to another clearing, where there are more tiger cubs available for photos, but in full possession of their faculties (though related).
But the part that really deserves is a kind of arena where the puppies are kept for 8 months. One can observe very closely and is beautiful to see them play each other.
And the only thing we'd like to do there is no place ovviamemte: ten people at a time for four rounds can go within the arena and play with puppies . The pups were clearly domesticated, and there are dozens and dozens of trainers. Is given to persons entering with a long stick attached to the end a lot or a fly ball to the pups to play. This is to be adrenaline own experience!
This last part I really liked it. When a puppy does something that does not fall in the teachings, such as approaching the person with the stick or try to snatch the game from the stick, then beaten on the head ... But are not given orders as to the circus. The puppies are very tame because accustomed since childhood to be among so many people. I also think that two hours of public opening will coincide with the "post lunch" ... and that the instruction requires that they eat prey already dead so do not try never experience attack.
In conclusion I found really humiliating and sad to see the adult specimens businnes forced to submit to a tourist, but very interesting opportunities to interact with the trainers (disguised as "controlling officers") with animals in nature can be very dangerous.
I firmly believe that all animals raised in captivity can not fully express his own nature, but here unlike other places are made to live in good conditions ... Valium apart!

Silver City, Ottawa, On
34 days: Bangkok (continued)
10:00 am departure from the hotel.
The goal of the day is "running the economy" ... as indeed every citizen of the world, who has an ounce of sense of responsibility, should
:-) Go for it. We are not even from one quarter of an hour into the first shopping center that I did to buy Andrew: a new memory card for his camera, a new USB key and a universal adapter (adapter is really for me, but I managed to convince him that it is a common good).
the second mall we are already so full of handbags that we have to skip the trip to the Pratunam market and return to the hotel (actually I would have a plan B, which was to buy a trolley to put in all purchases and safely continue with the ride, but I was not the case overplayed his hand with Andrea that today has already given me so much satisfaction!).
The day continues with a visit to the world's first center, established by the Red Cross, to extract venom from snakes in order to create antidotes. The samples are kept in showcases clean and have plenty of room.
witnessing the daily extraction of venom and the presentation of the most poisonous snakes ... all explained in Thai and in English by a team of four doctors.
I, like every time I see one, the rest literally spellbound by the beauty of the cobra ... has a line described as sinuous and imperial at the same time ...
Finite demonstrations, is made available to visitors with a ball python ... I obviously can not resist and I do put me in the neck ... and I find myself moved by the thought of my Cleopatra, now for a year sold to the reptile house ... di Jesolo wow ... it's so nice to feel the sensation of silk between the fingers of their skin ...

Scabies Treatment More Condition_symptoms
: Surathani - Bangkok
This morning my throat was a bit deflated and I feel better ... and then we're going to Bangkok, a shopper's paradise! Anyone would feel better!
landed with Nok Air (as I like these planes with their beaks!), Who are not even the 10 ... but our taxi driver does not find the hotel easily (like most of the time), then we get that it's almost midday ... but they can not buy a cabbage navigator??
Our room was very comfortable and I must say that after five days on an island with electricity only at night, not a widower forward to a bit of comfort! ... Internet, water heater, fresh water ... :-) that Goduria
quick shower and then run to the Chatuchak market ... the largest market of Bkk :-) Do you think the entrance of the maps to provide turn by so great!
Andrea wants to buy the masks in Thailand and then try to find the area of \u200b\u200bcrafts ... but it is not easy and the map is a big mess. After being refreshed we share with the research, but I show my status and influenza I can not stand. Andrea I leave to wander the stalls and I'm going back to the hotel (and please note that to give up shopping in Bkk, it means that I am really very very bad!).
Andrea comes back after three hours without even a purse! Do you realize?? "MEN"! How do you turn three in the middle of stalls crammed with everything at a very low price and not buying anything??
Tomorrow I'll take to run the economy, as I always recommend my dear friend Miriam!
sushi dinner ... but this cold is pretty much a disappointment.

day 32: Koh Phayam - Surathani
This morning I awoke with the sensation of having sandpaper in my throat, a cold and the mega timpana left that seems to be stung by billions of tiny pins. Maybe I let myself go with a little boogie boarding! Whatever I feel like a rag! After an hour's boat and three minibuses, we get Surathani. In hotel lend me the Vicks to breathe and faint to read that are not even seven in the evening ...
